El Principito (Le Petit Prince), publicado el 6 de abril de 1943, es el relato corto más conocido del escritor y aviador francés Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Lo escribió mientras se hospedaba en un hotel en Nueva York y fue publicado por primera vez en los Estados Unidos. Ha sido traducido a ciento ochenta lenguas y dialectos.
The Little Prince (Le Petit Prince), published in 1943, is French aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's most famous novella. Saint-Exupéry wrote it while living in the United States. It has been translated into more than 190 languages and has sold more than 80 million copies, making it the best selling French-language book and one of the best selling books ever.
Le Petit Prince est une œuvre de langue française, la plus connue d'Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Publié en 1943 à New York, c'est un conte poétique et philosophique sous l'apparence d'un conte pour enfants. Le manuscrit original est conservé à la Pierpont Morgan Library à New York sous la cote 131761.
