Fábrica de sueños (Factory Girl) película del año 2006, dirigida por George Hickenlooper y protagonizada por Sienna Miller, Guy Pearce y Hayden Christensen. Esta película está basada en la vida de Edie Sedgwick, amiga y musa de Andy Warhol, quién la dirigió en varios filmes de su autoría. Una hermosa y adinerada chica alocada deja la escuela en 1965 y se muda a Nueva York con el objetivo de conseguir el papel de Holly Golihtly. Cuando conoce a un excéntrico artista nuevo llamado Andy Warhol, él promete que va a convertirla en la estrella que ella siempre quiso ser. A medida que alcanza el éxito en la ciudad va perdiendo el sentido de la realidad.

Factory Girl is a 2006 American biographical film based on the life of 1960s underground film star, socialite, and Warhol Superstar Edie Sedgwick. The film premiered in Los Angeles on December 29, 2006. Edie Sedgwick (Sienna Miller) is a young heiress studying art in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She moves to New York City, where she is introduced to Pop Art painter and film-maker Andy Warhol (Guy Pearce). Intrigued by the beautiful socialite, he asks her to perform in one of his underground movies. Soon she is spending time with him at The Factory, his studio and also the hangout of a group of eccentrics, some of them drug addicts. Her status as Warhol Superstar and success as a fashion model gain her popularity and international attention.

Factory Girl ou Portrait d'une muse au Québec est un film américain réalisé par George Hickenlooper en 2006 et sorti en salle le 2 février 2007. 1965. Edie Sedgwick, une belle et riche héritière décide de fuir l'univers trop pesant de l'école de Cambridge afin de rejoindre New York pour y poursuivre une carrière artistique. Arrivée sur place, celle-ci, par hasard, fait la rencontre du célèbre artiste Andy Warhol qui lui promet le rôle de sa vie. Elle fait son entrée dans le monde de la célèbre Factory et la gloire ne tarde pas à arriver... Puis la perte des repères et les désillusions d'hier refont surface.
